I have a friend who's son bought her an eee pc so she could be connected to the world while in the hospital for chemo. She loves her computer (even though she has a full Mac desktop). Now she is feeling better and goes places, for example our Senior Center, where she can use the wifi. Her computer has Windows 7 and runs everything she or her son has installed, including Picasa, Photo Story, Firefox and MS Security Essentialls. The computer is cute and amazing.

I have one of the older model eee pc's and I love it. I upgraded it to 2GB RAM and it's still not as fast as my desktop (which is a quad core with 6GB of RAM) but the little Atom processor holds it's own for most tasks. Most of my textbooks for school are downloadable, and I can use the netbook to take them outside when the weather is nice, or work on a paper for school while i'm downtown chilling in the coffee shop, they have some big comfy chairs in there!

Anwyay, awesome to see you guys doing so well with this mobile computery stuff!
