I upgraded it to 2GB RAM and it's still not as fast as my desktop (which is a quad core with 6GB of RAM) but the little Atom processor holds it's own for most tasks. Most of my textbooks for school are downloadable, and I can use the netbook to take them outside when the weather is nice, or work on a paper for school while i'm downtown chilling in the coffee shop, they have some big comfy chairs in there!
